Floral Facial DIY

  1. Cleanse – Mix 1 tablespoon of cleanser and 1 drop of Lavender oil, massage onto face and rinse well.
  2. Steam – Bring water to just about a boil, pour into a bowl,  and add 1 drop of either Lavender or Rose absolute essential oil (whichever scent you prefer). Cover your head with a towel and steam for 1-2 minutes. Be sure to keep your eyes closed.
  3. Mask – Mix 2 tablespoons of bentonite clay, 1 tablespoon of  water, and 1 drop of Lavender essential oil in a small bowl. Apply to face and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse well. (Your skin may look a little red after rinsing the mask off. The clay boosts the circulation in your skin, which causes the redness. It should calm down in about a half hour.)
  4. Tone – Spray face with 5-6 pumps of rosewater (or rose hydrosol).
  5. Serum – Apply one pump (or drop-however your rosehip oil is packaged) of rosehip seed oil to your fingertips and pat onto face.
  6. Moisturize – Mix 1 ounce of unscented lotion with 3 drops of Lavender oil and 2 drops of Rose absolute oil. Apply all over face.

As always, if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to send me a message. I would love to help.

Enjoy!
