Roll-On Oil DIY – Sunshine & Roses

ADK_0481 2Do you ever feel irritated or anxious but can’t quite pinpoint why? Or, have days where you may be a little too hard on yourself or feel insecure?

You are definitely not alone. We all have our down days, our off days, our agitated cranky days…

The most important thing to remember is to take a step back, take a deep breath, and take comfort in knowing it will eventually pass.

Use this blend when you need a little emotional comfort, security, and love.

What’s in it and why?

  • Sandalwood – Aids in reducing irritability and encourages feeling of self acceptance.
  • Rose absolute – Helps soothe anger, grief, and anxiety. It also helps to bring out feelings of love. Rose is an extremely comforting essential oil.
  • Geranium – Helps ease anxious feelings, helps create a feeling of being open hearted, and encourages a sense of security.
  • Clary Sage – Soothes anxiety and calms the mind. Clary Sage is also emotionally uplifting, helping to create emotional balance.

Use this blend two ways.

If you’re just in need of a little mood boost, roll on throughout the day and enjoy the uplifting scent and benefits.

If you have a nagging feeling that is bothering you, but you just can’t put your finger on what it is or why, use this blend during meditation.

Before meditation, roll onto the back of your neck and center of your chest, focusing on these feelings. The combination of soothing and comforting essential oils may help relax you just enough to dig deeper and shed some light on why you may be feeling this way. Over the years, I have found, if you don’t let yourself feel all of your feelings it may be harder to see the cause.

Take a deep breath and take care.

If you know of someone who could also benefit from this blend, please share.
